We’re always looking for caring people to join our Children’s and Adults teams. We’ll have team members such as Social Workers, Practice Leads, and our recruitment team on hand to talk about job opportunities and what it’s like to work with us at the upcoming Birmingham Jobs Fair! We’re a friendly bunch so come and say hi!

Children’s and Families

In our Children and Families’ team our main purpose is to improve the lives of all children and young people across Staffordshire. We’re using a whole system approach to enable children and young people to be happy, healthy, and safe and we’re investing an additional £5 million for practical measures, to boost oversight, increase support and reduce workloads. And what motivates, inspires, and connects us as a team is knowing that the work we do every single day has so much impact!

As well as the programmes such as ‘Step Up to Social Work’ and ‘Frontline’ we also have a Social Apprenticeship. But we’re also committed to helping social workers progress once they’re in post with us. We recently put in place our new ‘Social Work Progression Pathway’ taking you from your ASYE through to Advanced Social Worker, Practice Lead and then Team Manager and leadership roles. This ensures you can progress your career and be compensated in line with your experience.
